The 2026 Toruń Camerimage Film Festival released its official lineup on Tuesday, centering a 15-film main competition on high-profile studio productions and international award contenders. The event, which grants the Golden Frog for outstanding cinematography, will take place in Toruń, Poland, from November 7 to 14.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s Project Hail Mary anchors the competition, with cinematography by Greig Fraser. The lineup also features Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, shot by Janusz Kamiński, and Martin McDonagh’s Wild Horse Nine, featuring work by Ben Davis. These titles join other major contenders, including Tony Gilroy’s Behemoth! and Andrey Zvyagintsev’s Minotaur.
The selection highlights the festival’s focus on visual craft, pairing established auteurs with big-budget releases. May el-Toukhy’s Venice winner Woman Unknown is part of the core group, as is Paweł Pawlikowski’s Fatherland, photographed by Łukasz Żal. Hans Petter Moland’s Growth of the Soil and Volker Schlöndorff’s Visitation round out the competitive field.
Beyond the main competition, the program includes Cristian Mungiu’s Fjord, a Cannes Palme d’Or winner. Netflix’s Possible Love, directed by Lee Chang-dong, is scheduled for a special screening. The documentary section features NAZA, which received a Special Jury prize at the Venice Film Festival.
The 34th edition of the festival is dedicated to the artistic contribution of cinematographers. It brings directors of photography and filmmakers together to discuss the technical and creative elements of the moving image.
