Roseville finished the Class 6A regular season with a 4-4 record on Friday, its best mark since 2017, after defeating Coon Rapids 24-14 to claim the Metro Maroon subdistrict title.

Senior quarterback Chase Browning passed for 162 yards and three touchdowns in the final regular-season game. "It's an amazing feeling," Browning said. "I don't even have words for it. We've all worked so hard. It's great to see it finally paying off."

The result positions the Raiders for a postseason berth, while the rest of the East Metro concluded its regular season with mixed outcomes. Centennial defeated Anoka 38-6, a score that likely secures the Cougars a No. 3 seed. Anoka's single-digit point total marked the first time this season the team was held under ten.

In the Metro East, Mounds View edged White Bear Lake 22-16 to take sole possession of the subdistrict title. The Mustangs took the lead late in the fourth quarter when quarterback Tanner Jude scored on a one-yard run with 65 seconds remaining. A successful two-point conversion extended the lead to six points, and Preston Johnson intercepted a pass on the following possession to end the game.

Forest Lake running back Mack Jurkovich finished the regular season with 1,600 rushing yards. The St. Thomas commit gained 245 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-13 victory over Stillwater, a result that locks the Rangers into the No. 2 seed in the Class 6A playoffs.

Other results included East Ridge's 42-31 win over Woodbury, where Logan Tretter rushed for two touchdowns. Park defeated Eastview 18-10, with junior receiver Manny Vargas scoring twice, including a 75-yard punt return.

The season ended with a last-second play in the south metro. Lakeville South kicker Dylan Nelson made a 36-yard field goal with one second left to give the Cougars a 17-14 upset of Rosemount. The result adjusts the seeding picture for the Class 6A playoffs in that region.
