Israel faces a decisive vote on October 27, with the outcome potentially shaping the nation's next two years of foreign policy.

Ophir Falk, the foreign policy adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, wrote to The Jerusalem Post on Sunday to outline his position. He stated that removing Iran's current leadership serves the interests of the United States, Israel, and global civilization. Falk identified the Trump-Netanyahu pairing as the specific combination suited for this task.

The adviser framed the election as a choice about partnership. He asked voters to consider who would best coordinate with the American president to complete operations in Iran and widen regional peace. Falk noted that Trump renewed his endorsement of Netanyahu on Truth Social on Sunday evening, urging Israelis to vote for the prime minister to finish the work already begun.

Falk contrasted the American position with the preferences of regional rivals. He asserted that groups including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iran itself desire a Netanyahu defeat. He added that the alliance between Israel and the United States stands at its strongest point, while Iranian influence and its proxies are at their weakest.

The adviser had previously discussed the strategy in an interview with The Jerusalem Post on October 15. At that time, he described Israel as being very close to creating conditions for regime change. He emphasized that the final decision remains with the Iranian people, stating that the domestic population must drive the transition.

The written remarks sent ahead of the election did not specify the methods the two nations would use to remove Iran's leadership. The statement also provided no timeline for when the change might occur.

Falk's comments land as the campaign enters its final days. The prime minister's team is pushing for a mandate to continue the current strategic direction with Washington.
